London the capital of England and the United Kingdom has got lots to offer not only tourists but also its own residents. Tourists always get a thrill watching the changing of the Queen’s guards at Buckingham Palace. During this time a military band plays and the event takes place at precisely 11:30 A.M. from April to July and on alternate days from August to March. The guards start coming at 11:15 A.M. as the band plays and it lasts until 12 P.M.

Tourists love the visit the House of Parliament which is housed in the Palace of Westminster. Here you can explore sites like the famous Big Ben, historic Palace of Westminster and even watch a debate. You can visit the galleries in the House of Parliament and observe historical laws in process.

Don’t forget to take a look at London from a bird’s eye view. Ride the London Eye which is Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel standing at 443 feet tall. There are 32 compartments which can hold 25 people. From the glassed in capsule you can take a look at the city from all vantage points. Each ride lasts about 30 minutes. To get the best views go on a clear day.
